Colonel VonSiegfried, The Countess Anastasia & Guinnie

Name: Colonel James Von Siegfried
Role in the Brigade: Sometime Brigadier and Constant Companion to the Countess Anastasia of Russia. (Particularly enjoys lecturing Lucky on the necessity of better discipline among his crew)
Before the Brigade: Colonel Von Siegfried has been the companion to the Countess Anastasia for many years. He and the Countess have been seen in various locales and eras both interfering and simply collecting interesting items (such as the STAS). Prior to meeting the Countess, he was a Naval Aeronaut and undersea explorer with the Prussian military.
Favoured weapons: The Siegfried Blaster, a temporal and kinetic weapon of his own design. The Siegfried Electro-blaster (currently under construction). Various firearms and bladed weapons.
Vices: Tinkering with various mechanical and temporal devices. Schnapps. Lecturing Lucky on the importance of discipline.
Interesting fact: His airship, the STAS (Spatial and Temporal AirShip) was ‘acquired’ after he inadvertently blasted the previous owner (an odd little man wearing a fez) into the time vortex with the Siegfried blaster.

Role in the Brigade: Companion to Colonel James Von Siegfried (most say she has the power in the relationship)
Before the Brigade: The Countess was raised amid the wealth and privilege of the highest society in mid-19th century Russia. Early on she discovered she had a talent for photography and a dislike for corsetry. Much to the chagrin of her family, she embarked on a life of adventure taking temporal photographs and collecting items that caught her interest. One of these was the dashing James Von Siegfried; once her bodyguard, now her constant companion and partner in adventure through space and time.
Favoured weapons: The temporal camera. (has been known to keep a blade secreted on her person).
Vices: Tormenting the Colonel, going into dangerous locales to get the perfect ‘shot’, collecting whimsical objects.
Interesting fact: Colonel Von Siegfried was just a simple Major when they met. The Countess was able to use her influence with the Court and Military to have him promoted to Colonel (it was far more acceptable for her to be in the company of a Colonel…).
